MEET THE AHOJ.INFO TEAM

We are volunteers from the European Solidarity Corps who come from Germany and the Czech Republic and are currently completing a year abroad at the Tandem coordination centres. Are you interested in the two neighbouring countries Germany and the Czech Republic? Would you like to know the topics which move and connect young people from both countries? Would you like to make new contacts and friendships in your neighbouring country? Then you've come to the right place at ahoj.info. At our workshops and events, you can get to know other interested young people from the Czech Republic and Germany and discuss current topics. Follow us on social media. We regularly feature German-Czech topics on Instagram and Facebook.

Ahoj.info is a project of Tandem, the Coordination Centres for German-Czech youth exchange. Tandem is a large German-Czech family, to which you, too, can belong. You can find out more about our project here.

EVENTS

Every year you have the chance to participate in a German-Czech workshop or a youth conference that we organise for volunteers. Once again, we have come up with exciting topics for you this year. Would you like to get in regular contact with young people from the German-Czech community? Then visit our regulars' table in Pilsen.

Once per month, our volunteer organises a regulars' table in Pilsen, where German and Czech-speaking participants meet in the evening in a pub, restaurant or café. The regulars' table offers participants a good opportunity to practice their German and/or Czech and to enjoy a nice evening at the same time. The time and place change for each regulars' table and will be announced via Facebook.

Location:: Youth Education Centre, Waldmünchen

The ahoj.info video seminar will take place at the youth education centre in Waldmünchen. The event is aimed at young people aged 16 to 26 and is being organised by a volunteer from the European Solidarity Corps with the support of a team of colleagues from both Tandem offices.

At this year's youth conference we will be looking at the topic of sustainability and waste. The ahoj.info team invites you to join us! If you feel like spending a weekend packed with information, experiences and suggestions on the topic of sustainability, meeting and being inspired by other young people from a neighbouring country, book a date in your calendar!

Would you like to discover the world after school or after your vocational training or studies? Do you not only want to gain new experiences, but also to do something meaningful? Volunteer service in Germany or the Czech Republic through the European Solidarity Corps gives you the opportunity to expand your perspectives and develop your personality. We don't just offer you volunteer service in one of the Tandem offices. Through our volunteer centre, you also have the opportunity to complete volunteer service in a German-Czech partner institution.
