The ahoj.info video seminar “The Future Tastes Sustainably” will take place at the youth education centre in Waldmünchen from March 7 to 9, 2025. The event is aimed at young people aged 16 to 26 and is organised by volunteers from the European Solidarity Corps with the support of a team of colleagues from both Tandem offices and staff from the Youth Education Centre Waldmünchen.
Why is sustainable diet important?
Climate change, intensive animal farming, famines and much more follow us in the media. The call for sustainable use of our resources is getting louder. The way we eat plays a crucial role in this – for the environment, the climate and our future. But what could a sustainable diet system look like? Is the future meat-free or will we all soon be eating insects? What solutions already exist and how can we ourselves contribute to change?
We are looking forward to your ideas!
In this workshop you will get creative together with young people from Germany and Czechia:
- Discuss the effects and potential of sustainable diets.
- Develop ideas for a better future – from regional products to meat alternatives.
- Turn your vision into a short film: you will learn the basics of filmmaking, from planning to scripting to editing.

Insurance: Participants from Germany are covered by accident and liability insurance during the event.
