Seminar with video workshop

The ahoj.info video seminar “Work-Life Balance” will take place at the youth education centre in Waldmünchen from December 5 to 7, 2025. The event is aimed at young people aged 16 to 26 and is organised by volunteers from the European Solidarity Corps with the support of a team of colleagues from both Tandem offices and staff from the Youth Education Centre Waldmünchen.

Why is the work-life balance important?

We live in a world where work and performance often come first. School, university, job—everything takes up time and energy. That is exactly why it is so important to find a work-life balance. Because if you work constantly with few breaks, you run the risk of losing motivation or even burning out. The trick is to really switch off after work or university: meet friends, do sports, just do nothing. This is not a luxury, but a necessity to stay healthy, creative, and motivated.

We are looking forward to your ideas!

In this workshop you will get creative together with young people from Germany and Czechia:

1. Discuss the impacts and potential of a balanced work-life relationship
2. Develop ideas for a better future – time management, stress management, healthy boundaries between work and leisure, and much more
3. Turn your vision into a short film: you will learn the basics of filmmaking, from planning to scripting to editing.

Costs: The participation fee is 10 EUR (or 250 CZK). For participants from Germany, 100% of the travel costs within Germany will be reimbursed (bus or train: 2nd class).
Insurance: Participants from Germany are covered by accident and liability insurance during the event.
