The German-Czech Youth Exchange Coordination Centres – Tandem in Germany (sponsor: Bavarian Youth Ring) and the Czech Republic (sponsor: West Bohemian University in Pilsen) take the protection of your personal data very seriously. The following explanation gives you an overview of when we store which data, the purpose for which we use it and how we ensure the protection of your personal data.

Legal basis bases

Art. 6 (1)(a) EU GDPR is the legal basis for obtaining consent.

Art. 6 (1)(b) ELegal basis bases
U GDPR is the legal basis for the processing of personal data to fulfil a contract and to answer inquiries.

Art. 6 (1)(c) EU GDPR is the legal basis for the fulfilment of a legal obligation by Tandem.

Art. 6 (1)(d) EU GDPR is the legal basis in the event that vital interests of the data subject or another natural person require the processing of personal data.

Art. 6 (1)(f) EU GDPR is the legal basis if the processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of Tandem or a third party and the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject do not outweigh the first-mentioned interest.

Data collection and processing

You can use the majority of the homepage www.ahoj.info without providing any personal data. In some places, you have the opportunity to contact Tandem or use other services (e.g. to register for a seminar). At these points, we only collect the data that we need for this purpose. It will not be used for other purposes.

SERVER LOG FILES

When you visit the website www.ahoj.info, the following data is automatically collected and stored in the server log files:

referrer URL (i.e. the previously visited page)
time of the server request
IP addresses

It is not possible for Tandem to identify a specific person with this general information. The server log files are a technical means to troubleshoot errors on www.ahoj.info.

SESSION COOKIES

The provision of personal data is neither contractually required nor necessary for the conclusion of a contract. You are not required to provide the personal data. If you do not provide the personal data, we will not be able to manage your consents.

Disclosure to third parties

Personal data is stored exclusively on computers of the service provider in Germany and the Czech Republic in order to exclude abusive external influences of third parties. Only the service provider uses this data, whereby only an authorised group of employees can access the data that is necessary to perform the respective task.

The downloading or other receipt of information and data when using the services of www.ahoj.info is at your own risk. Tandem assumes no liability for the data and information, in particular with regard to their usability, accuracy, completeness and freedom from viruses.

Data deletion and storage period

Your personal data will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose for storage ceases to apply. Storage may also take place if this is provided for by European or national laws or regulations to which Tandem is subject. Data will also be blocked or deleted if a storage period prescribed by the aforementioned regulations has elapsed, unless further storage of the data is necessary for the conclusion or fulfilment of a contract.

Right of withdrawal and objection

Pursuant to Art. 7 (3) EU GDPR, you have the right to revoke your declaration of consent under data protection law at any time. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the legality of the processing carried out based on the consent prior to its withdrawal. You can object to the future processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR at any time.

Right of appeal to the supervisory authority

If you believe that the processing of personal data violates the EU GDPR, you have a right of appeal to the supervisory authority responsible for the BJR. It provides information about the status and results of the complaint, as well as the possibility of a judicial remedy under Art. 78 EU GDPR.
